Young Justice Artemis In Wonderland Characters 1

I've submitted this in my deviantart a while ago....I also want to apologize that Part 5 might be delay for a while. Don't be angry...with Chinese New Year holidays ( which takes a week) i have a tight schedule to use the computer as my siblings ( who are still in school and one of them has an intern job) are now raiding every corner of the house which is difficult for me to draw and also use the computer for myself...You don't understand...IT'S A NIGHTMARE !!!!!!!!! Every 10 minutes, i tried to get my "Me time" for myself there's always someone shouting my name to do some chores, help...or whatever job and duty i had to to do ! So, to please you're burning hearts, i'll grant you all a small token for your patience and kind attention.(For now, the schedule for my comic maybe delay a day or two...or worse...more...) Thank you

Part 4

Did this on a Friday night, around 12 something in the morning, probably the eye-drooping Friday night I've ever had in my life....so far. But i was determine to finish it before Saturday because...

1) I need to publish this on Saturday (ASAP)
2) Saturday morning at 10 a.m (in Malaysia), i want to watch Young Justice Episode 12 Home front at TV3 even though i'd watched that episode a billion times but it never get bored and it's also my most favorite episode in Young Justice (so far) and not only that it's probably the first time i would watch Young Justice Episode 12 in front of my TV (and also the first time to be officially aired in Malaysia). Also, we get to see Artemis and Dick in a school uniform.....
3) Busy with family catering business ( which also means i have a lot of jobs to do with it so in other words, it'll be impossible for me to get an opportunity to use the computer let alone the internet.)
4) Saturday is also vacuum-the-whole-house-time for me.Another time consuming job.
5) Also a possibility of spring-cleaning time.
6) Saturday, also means a day in the weekends for working employee(s) and little school children to fight each other to the death to get their hands on the computer to use the internet. And when i meant working employee(s) and little (obnoxious) school children, i meant my siblings....

Hidden Novels : Pulut Sakura Serunding Kasih

In English, Pulut is a type of sticky rice or grain food , Serunding, it's hard to describe it but is a type of food with spices and it's cooked until it's dried and Kasih means love or care.
This is serunding.

This is pulut in Malaysia. And of course, you know what love and care looks like.

This novel in Malay so if you don't understand this language and want to know the story here's how it went down. The story revolves around the life and love story of  a young Malaysian man, Rafique, and a young Japanese woman named Tomomi. The story sets in 21's century, of course. I don't want anyone confuse with all the whole war thing. This is actually thick and has 470 pages because most of it tells the early days of Rafique and Tomomi and the long conversation. Rafique's emotion plays a role with him living and working at The Land Of The Rising Sun, Japan, and finds out Wahidah, a long time friend from his village furthered her studies in Japan just after Rafique went back to his home village during his holiday, Talk about timing...but hey, that's Malay drama...there's always a glitch in Malay drama which is why I hate them so much. Anyway, Tomomi's parents got divorced and it made her become sad, depressed and a little rebellious. Even in high school she was rebellious but she got pick up of that attitude because of her friends. Tomomi was considered a beautiful girl and this guy, Kazu, was totally head over heels for her. but Tomomi only sees Kazu nothing more but a friend. Kazu becomes more desperate and a little nutty over her as there was one time he took advantage of Tomomi when she got drunk. Despite, all of that, Tomomi was cool as a cucumber and brush it off. As soon as her mother comes back home from work, Tomomi slip out of the house secretly to go karaoke with her friends Ringo, Sanae and Kazu. The manager of the karaoke, Madame Rose (an old Japanese Drag Queen) seeks help from her loyal customers to find her son Nakahara Akira after his son lost contact with the family after he finished his studies. Akira only posted postcards to his family. So, they journey to Mount Fiji as the last postcard Akira last sent was there. At the same time, Rafique went to Mount Fiji to help one his work friend to keep his house at Mount Fiji safe and tidy. He took the offer and sees it as a an opportunity to clear his mind as he got dumped by his love interest. Now, Tomomi's mom got into a relationship with a married old guy and she revealed the secret to her mother. Tomomi got pushed off by the married old guy while she was separated with her friends at Mount Fiji. She fell from a ledge and got lost in the forest. Luckily, Rafique was there to help the girl. Bad thing about it, Tomomi lost her memories after the fall and there was a snow storm in Mount Fiji so Rafique can't get help or go outside for that matter. Rafique called her Kimiwa whch means "you" in Japanese as Tomomi had no memories at all. Rafique nursed her, fed her and even bathed her. Rafique tried helping Kimiwa get her memories and health back. They talk in various conversation, bonded , ate pulut and serunding together and eventually fell in love with each other .Now, don't get any dirty thoughts...even though they're both alone in an empty big house, they're boy and a girl, Rafique even bathed her....and yes, she was naked. He even help putting her clothes one ( yes, naked, again...) but they never had any contact not even a kiss. Remember, Rafique is a Muslim.....Back to the story, after the bad weather was gone. Rafique took her to the hospital and he never saw her again. Tomomi got her memories back when she saw the picture of Rafique's work friend, Akira. Tomomi's parents remarried after they had good terms with each other when Tomomi got lost, her friends Sanae was happy to Tomomi, i don't know what happen to Ringo, Kazu had a new life after Tomomi disappeared, Akira had settle in with his new life and Madame Rose accepted it, Tomomi became a Muslim once she was inspired by the stories of the Prophet Muhammad that Rafique told and also was inspired by the deep and emotionally moving words from the Quran while she was in the hospital. Years later, Rafique and Tomomi reunited again when Rafique visited a birthday party of a friend. The End.

My Opinion : I was hoping and expecting more from this novel than this but the novel is pack full of information about Japanese culture and people which is good. Is it romantic enough ? To me, no, as the conversation seemed pretty bland, ordinary and not usually used in reality and everyday life. Conversation is everything in romance because it shows how the relationship grows and sparks flying. Not because of overly dramatic scenes or overwhelming physical contact between two people but the way the flow of the relationship is important and conversations is the role of a potential love to happen. The good thing is that this novel is overly dramatic like every romance genre Malay novel you'll find. For that, i'll give this novel three stars out of five. If you happen wanting to buy Malay novels, you can buy this one cause it's seem pretty good for a Malay novel standards but if you come across a novel called Nora Elyna. DON'T BUY A NOVEL CALLED NORA ELYNA ! IT'S THE WORST NOVEL I'VE EVER READ AND MAKING A DRAMA SERIES MADE IT EVEN WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY ?! I'LL BLOG IT ABOUT NEXT TIME.......THAT'S FOR SURE...

My Blog Is Still A "Baby Blog"

Stories speaks to me. And who doesn't ? It what's make us watch our favorite TV shows, read comics in our private geek sanctuary, watch movies while we awe the great special effects and of course, far more importantly, what greatly impacts the society through stories is becoming a better person than who we are from yesterday. And all it took was picking up a story around the corner.....

And.
       Just.
              By.
                   Reading.
                                 It.

My Blog, At The Brink Of Stories, is still a "Baby Blog" but i'm determine to work hard on it. To fill it with wonderful stories to be display......on modern technology. I love making stories whether in short stories, thick novels, comic strips, my homemade videos or simply telling it through just picture. You know what they say ? Images speaks more than a thousand words. It's true, i got 51 viewers from America by applying good-all-American comics, 60 viewers from Malaysia just by changing the layout, background and template in my blog and got a lot of foreign viewers by putting my opinions on published novels....

I have a lot of stories to tell but at the moment i'm kind of busy....so at the mean time, i'll be making a few comics, review on books on which  you should read and highly recommended novels....and comics both east and west comics...manga and all that...but i promise you this that i have a LOT of stories in store for all of you.

Part 3

I made this because I always wonder what would Damian do most of his time besides being Batman's protege when the members of the Teen Titans such as Superboy, Wonder Girl, Red Robin, Kid Devil, Ravager and etc... grown up and went their separate ways ? Of course, some of the members may stay as Teen Titans...but i sure wish Damian would have his own time as his own age. So,then i wonder what would happen if he mingled with the DC heroes kids such as Wally's kids, Iris and Jai West or the Blue Beetle's little sister Milagro Reyes ? That's when i started making this...

My Review On Can You Keep A Secret

Can You Keep A Secret by Sophie Kinsella.

Meet Emma Corrigan, a young woman with a huge heart, an irrepressible spirit, and a few little secrets.

Secrets from her boyfriend :
I've always thought Connor looks a bit like Ken. As in Barbie and Ken.

Secrets from her parents :
Sammy the goldfish at home isn't the same goldfish that Mum and Dad gave me to look after when they went to Egypt.

Secrets she wouldn't share with anyone in the world :
I have no idea what NATO stands for.Or even what it is.

Until she spills them all to a handsome stranger on a pane.At least, she thought he was a stranger.... Until Emma comes face-to-face with Jack Harper, the company's elusive CEO, a man who knows every single humiliating detail about her...

This book has three different covers. The book that i'd read is the pink one.Again. I've read this book by borrowing it from my eldest sister. Sharing is Caring. Besides, she NEVER reads it ! Once she bought a book, she'll read it a few seconds and then BOOM !!!!!!! She'll just leave it somewhere around the corner of the room to collect cobwebs and dust bunnies. I bet she's always like this when she gets a book in her hand. The only people who finish reading this book from the first and last page is me and my other sister.Anyway, the beginning of the story in this book started off pretty well !  I have to agree with the Miami Herald quote ,"Kinsella's timing is so perfect, her instincts so spot-on, that it's so easy to...devour the book like the guilty pleasure it is".Once i'd read the first few chapters, i couldn't stop reading because i wanted to know more of the story. Moreover, the conversations were engaging and humorous. For example...

Emma: We're going to die ! (in an airplane)
Stranger: I don't think we're going to die. They said it was just turbulence-
Emma: Of course, they did ! They wouldn't exactly say, 'Okay, folks, that's it-you're all goners !'

Everything was great at the beginning, climax, conversation, characters and all but except the end of the story was disappointing, though because it seemed like the ending wasn't finished. It was dissatisfying because Emma was really worked up at the climax of the story and when the story ends with a "What ?! That's all !?" in my opinion. I was hoping that the ending would end something juicy or at least something better than it was written. It felt like the story didn't finish or Sophie didn't have any ideas or will to put more in the ending of this book. The climax too was a bit of a let down as the main character, Emma Corrigan, becomes a nagging machine and desperate woman who throws tantrum towards to people instead of the Emma Corrigan that i've read the first few chapters before. I wanted more once i first read this book but i didn't get what i wanted when i finish reading it.Well, that's my opinion but if you do agree with me but haven' read the book and wanted to read it, i suggest that you would borrow this book instead of buying it to prevent yourself feeling as disappointed as i am and regretting wasting your money but it's up to you. Luckily for me the book i've read belongs to my sister. Which she NEVER EVER read it !!!!

More Crime and Mystery Books, Please !!!!!!!!!

I've finished reading Deadly Deviates by John Dunning and it was amazing ! I've never missed reading this book until i finish reading this book so to make sure, I read it every night. Which is the worst time to read murderous and heinous crime mystery genre books...But ,Hey , I can't help it 1 I fell in love with this book once i read it. It does gives you the frights and tingles of nerves around your body as if your body is shivering in the cold but it's the kind of "good" scare that gets you going.Well, the stories are amazing because every single one those crimes in this book is true but it was quite enjoyable reading it as John Dunning's way of story-telling and writing is engaging and enticing even though this book is "old-fashioned" to what young adults expected but well...the book is quite old...it was actually written in 1989. This non-fiction is recommended for chill-thrillers as myself even though it's from the late 80's but it can easily fit in any era because these true stories tells the tale of the one in a million possibility that can happen in our everyday life in our society. Of course, you tell it yourself that the possibility becomes almost a  reality just looking outside the window. Crime is increasing but that doesn't mean that it's not possible to decrease it. Stopping crime seems like a life-time because human actions and emotions plays a major role in crime even the motiveless crime can occur outside our minds. Deadly Deviates actually have different covers but wit the same pictures. My book is the blue one. It's actually belong to my sister, she bought it at a cheap price and i couldn't help to peek inside the book while it was laying around the bedroom collecting dust. After finishing reading this book, i started to crave for more ! I wish Malaysia had a great access to books especially old ones. Now, i am in a quest to have a collection of John Dunning's books... I'm still new at this blog thing. Please, visit my deviantart page, http://aimiislovebeautiful.deviantart.com/ and YouTube page, I've uploaded my first video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-ZtbUzDjng&feature=plcp&context=C38de917UDOEgsToPDskIXyhsTKCElcXor2sfOUSYV.
